SAP PP/MM Consultant Role

​

• In this role, PP/MM Consultant will provide application functional support and implementation support in SAP Applications module areas of Materials Management and Production Planning.

• SAP configuration experience in the following SAP modules and applications: MM/PP

• Material Management and Production Planning process acumen and experience in architect and developing SAP solutions enabling all aspects of the above areas

• Ability to liaise with cross functional business and IT teams and act as an internal IT point of contact for SAP implementation projects

• Document process flows and operating instructions for business execution team.

• Analysis of business requirements and design and implementation of robust and scalable solutions to accommodate changing business needs.

• Participate in and help drive functional and technical design specifications.

• Identify integration issues and develop solutions to these issues.

• Continually strive to enhance or improve business systems processes that drive efficiency through use of best practices

• Monitor progress of SAP projects and take corrective action as required to ensure deadlines and business needs are met.

• Identify system problems and determine necessary resolution.

• Work with SAP team to write business and technical specifications.

• Execute quality assurance from test definition through assessment sign off.

• Provide end user training and on-going user support during implementation and after go live date.

• Implement additional SAP MM/PP modules, other add-ons, and system upgrades

• Follow applicable standards, procedures, guidelines, and methodologies in the support and/or maintenance of systems

• Stay abreast of current trends, literature, and technologies around SAP

• Understand the existing application architecture and support the interfaces between SAP and other shop floor system(s)

Requirements:

• Experience in local country reporting requirements

• 8 or more years of general finance and I.T. experience, including at least 1 full life cycle SAP MM/PP implementation

• Hands-on configuration and support experience with MM/PP and processes including requirement and source determination, vendor selection, comparison of quotations, PO, GR, INV processing, Goods movements, physical inventory, demand management, Make to order, make to stock, MRP and related concepts. Integration knowledge with FICO and other modules is highly desirable, WM knowledge good to have.

• Demonstrate the ability to adjust to changes in customer demands or operational goals

• Integration with cross functional module like FI/CO, SD

• SAP Certification in PP/MM modules a big plus
